CHALLENGER Pongsaklek Wonjongkam of Thailand defeated Koki Kameda of Japan to win the WBC flyweight title yesterday. Pongsaklek was in control throughout the 12-round bout in Tokyo and punished the 23-year-old Kameda with a series of uppercuts. The 32-year-old Pongsaklek improved to 75-3-1 with 39 knockouts. Kameda, making the first defense of a title he won in November, fell to 22-1-0.
