ENGLAND fast bowler Stuart Broad has been fined 50 percent of his match fee for throwing a ball "in a dangerous manner" toward Pakistan batsman Zulqarnain Haider on the third day of the Edgbaston test on Sunday.

Broad pleaded guilty and match referee Ranjan Madugalle imposed a fine equivalent to 50 percent of the player's match fee, the ICC said.
