Domingo named Proteas coach

RUSSELL Domingo will become South Africa cricket coach when Gary Kirsten leaves the post after the Champions Trophy in June.
Domingo is currently an assistant with the Proteas and has worked for two years under Kirsten, who announced on Friday that he is leaving to spend more time with his family. Domingo, 38, will be head coach in all three formats. His appointment by Cricket South Africa yesterday came after Kirsten indicated in April he wouldn't be staying on.
