SHANGHAI Dragons will take on Beijing Lions in a 50-over cricket match as they bid to retain the China Cup, a bi-annual tournament, at the Dulwich College Ground in Pudong on Sunday.
Shanghai has picked the cream of players from its new league this season which was developed to meet increased interest from expatriate players and local teams. The new league promises to advance and nurture talent and maintain Shanghai as Chinese mainland's cricket capital. Shanghai has won the Cup thrice.
