Fastest ODI century

SOUTH Africa’s AB de Villiers hit the fastest century in one-day internationals yesterday against the West Indies in Johannesburg. The 30-year-old South African captain needed just 31 balls to reach 100 — five balls fewer than Corey Anderson’s hundred for New Zealand against the West Indies in 2013/14. De Villers helped South Africa score an imposing 439 for two in 50 overs.
