Opener Kusal Perera hit his maiden century as Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by six wickets in Mirpur to sweep the one-day cricket series 3-0 yesterday. Sri Lanka scored 246-4 in reply to Bangladesh’s 240-8 with captain Angelo Mathews smashing a six over mid-wicket off Naeem Islam to complete the third ODI victory at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium. Perera made 106 off 124 balls, including five sixes. He added 138 runs with Dinesh Chandimal, who scored 64 off 70 deliveries.
