Evans victorious
AUSTRALIA'S Cadel Evans won the Tour de Romandie cycling race yesterday after the 164.6-kilometer fifth and final stage was won by Briton Ben Swift in Geneva.
Germany's Tony Martin was second overall, 18 seconds behind Evans, and Kazakh Alexandre Vinokourov was third, 19 seconds adrift. In the stage, Swift outsprinted Spain's Oscar Freire and Italy's Davide Vigano at the finish.
