CONNOR Fields of the United States won his second straight BMX time trial world championship yesterday. Fields finished his lap at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand in 22.598 seconds, holding off 2011 elite champion Joris Daudet of France by 0.103 seconds. Fellow French cyclist Sylvain Andre took the bronze, just ahead of American Corben Sharrah.
