Heros series’ 5th race

THE 2018 Skoda Heros China Cycling Series — Tour of Chongming was held on Chongming Island’s Chenjiazhen Town over the weekend. As the fifth race of the 2018 calendar, the event attracted nearly 600 participants, most of them from the Yangtze River Delta region.
The cyclists raced along a 5-kilometer track in six categories — elite, masters, women’s, college men’s, under 35 and under 25. Regis Robert, representing the RovalRacing team, won the 35km masters race clocking 50 minutes, 27.330 seconds. Jointly organized by the Shanghai Sports Bureau, the Shanghai Sports Federation, the Chongming District Sports Bureau and the Shanghai Cycling Sport Association, the race is also part of the 2018 Shanghai Amateur League. The cycling series will next hold a Huge Fondo race in neighboring Anhui Province in September.
