THE 2014 Shanghai Citizen’s Diving Competition will be held from July 20 to September 7 at Oriental Sports Center.
The center’s open-air venue “Moon Bay”, so-called for its crescent-shaped roof, will again host the event, which made a successful debut last summer. Organizers have improved the rules this year by making a division between male and female divers, with contests divided into three sessions — testing, preliminary and elite rounds. Top three winners of the elite round will get medals or trophies. Applicants can log on to Shanghai Sports Bureau’s website tyj.sh.gov.cn and register under the “Shanghai citizen’s sports league” section, or dial 965365 before July 15.
