BENYAPA Niphatsophon set the early pace at the China LPGA Tour Qualifying School Tournament yesterday as the Thai teen fired a 6-under 66 for a one-shot lead on Hainan Island. With 30 playing cards on offer (excluding ties) for the 14th season of the China LPGA Tour, Li Xiya was the top Chinese in the 74-player field at a stroke back, tied with Thais Kanyalak Preedasuttijit and Saranporn Langkulgasettrin.
