Chinese amateurs Ji Yifan and Yin Xiaowen carded rounds of 4-under-par 68 to grab a share of the first-round lead at the Le Coq Sportif Beijing Ladies Classic yesterday, tied with pros Li Xiya of Shanghai, Indian Sharmila Nicollet and Thai Wanchana Poruangrong. China’s Yang Taoli and Chen Cuixia were one shot off the pace at the China LPGA Tour event being played at Beijing Orient Pearl Golf Club, even with Thailand’s Wannasiri Sirisampant, South African Connie Chen, Malaysian Dianne Luke and Korean Seo Ji-hyun.
