Jeffress triumphs in Fiji

STEVEN Jeffress of Australia shot a 2-under 70 yesterday to win the inaugural Fiji International by four strokes.
Jeffress finished at 10-under 278 at the Australasian PGA Tour and OneAsia event. Australians also filled the next three spots — Jake Higginbottom second after a 70 and Terry Pilkadaris (71) and Andrew Dodt (76) tied for third, eight shots behind the winner. Jeffress and Higginbottom led by two strokes after three rounds. South Korea’s Hur In-hoi was fifth after a 75, nine strokes behind Jeffress.
