Kusuma wins maiden title
KUSUMA Meechai picked a good time to shoot her best round of the week as the Thai teenager fired a 2-under 70 yesterday to win the Wuhan Challenge by one stroke for her first professional title.
The 18-year-old Thai finished 1-under 215 for the tournament. Two late bogeys relegated China's Shang Linyan (69) to runner-up at the 500,000-yuan (US$81,500) CLPGA tournament while Thailand's Ajira Nualraksa (71) was third two shots back. Pan Yanhong, the leader through the first two rounds, finished fourth, four shots off the pace, after a 75.
