Lin on course for title
CHINESE Taipei’s Lin Tzu-chi put herself in contention to defend her Bank of Qingdao Golden Mountain Challenge title yesterday when she fired a 4-under 68 to take a two-shot lead at the China LPGA Tour event.
The 24-year-old was at 5-under 137 through 36 holes. Chinese amateur Yan Jing (72) and compatriot Wang Xin (70) were equal second, while South Korea’s Jang so-young (74), Chinese Taipei’s Babe Liu (71) and Thais Wichanee Meechai (72) and Pavarisa Yoktuan (71) were tied for fourth.
