Lin Xiyu took advantage of calm conditions to blow away the field during second-round play of the Sanya Hills Ladies Classic yesterday, shooting a 7-under-par 65 for a five-shot lead in the final regular season event of the China LPGA Tour. Compatriot Yan Panpan was a distant second after a 68, while first-round leader Li Jiayun ballooned to a 77 to sit nine shots off the pace, tied with Chinese amateur Zhang Yunjie (74) and two others.
