GEOFF Ogilvy shot a final-round 3-under-par 69 yesterday to win his first Australian Open in Sydney by four strokes.
Ogilvy, the 2006 US Open champion, finished with a four-round total of 19-under-par 269.
Fellow Australians Matt Jones and Alistar Presnell tied for second. Former champion John Senden and Jordan Sherratt, playing his first tournament as a professional, finished equal fourth, seven shots behind Ogilvy.
