Ravnjak stays in command at CLPGA Tour Q School

Tahnia Ravnjak extended her lead to two shots at the China LPGA Tour Qualifying Tournament yesterday when the Australian fired a 1-under 71 in second-round play at Wanning on south China’s Hainan Island.

The Queensland pro was on 6-under 138 through 36 holes at the 54-hole tournament where the top-30 finishers (excluding ties) receive their full playing card for the 2018 China season. China’s Du Mohan, one of 41 amateurs in the 88-player field, carded an even-par 72 over The Dunes at Shenzhou Peninsula West Course to sit second. Fellow amateur Zhang Yue (71) of China was third at three shots back, while Chinese Taipei’s Peng Chieh (72) was four shots off
