Rose bolts into the lead as Woods lurks
JUSTIN Rose started out as another player in Tiger Woods' group on Thursday at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida. He wound up in the lead.
Rose put on a show with the putter and ran off four straight birdies late in his round for a 7-under 65, giving him a two-shot lead after the opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
John Huh shot a 67 to sit in second. John Rollins and Brad Fritsch were tied for third at 68.
Woods was another shot back after scratching out a 69, a reasonable start as he tries to win Bay Hill for the eighth time and return to No. 1.
