Stenson climbs to 5th
SWEDEN’S Henrik Stenson climbed to fifth in the world golf rankings released yesterday after winning his second European Tour BMW International Open title in Pulheim, Germany, at the weekend.
Australian Jason Day and American Jordan Spieth continue to dominate the rankings with United States’ Billy Hurley moving up 438 places to 169th after capturing his first PGA title at the Quicken Loans National in Bethesda, Maryland, on Sunday. US Open winner Dustin Johnson of the US is third, ahead of Northern Ireland’s Rory McIlroy.
