Amateur Kanyalak Preedasutthijit booked herself a spot in the field for this week鈥檚 Hyundai China Ladies Open yesterday as the Thai teenager fired a 2-under 70 to win the qualifying event for the national championship in southern Hainan Province.
Playing over the Mission Hills Haikou Blackstone course in Haikou, the venue for the 54-hole, US$550,000 tournament starting on Friday, China鈥檚 Liu Yiyi claimed the other spot available when the 14-year-old amateur turned in an even-par 72.
