YAO Hsuan-yu of Chinese Taipei birdied the final three holes in a bogey-free round yesterday for a 4-under 68 and a two-shot lead after two rounds of the US$50,000 Beijing Pearl Challenge. The 18-year-old was at 6-under 138 through 36 holes in the fourth leg of the China LPGA Tour season. Defending champion Patcharajutar Kongkraphan of Thailand was second following her second consecutive round of 70, while Yang Hongmei (70) and overnight leader Pan Yanhong (73) of China were four shots off the pace.
