A week after 16-year-old Italian Matteo Manassero became the youngest player in Masters tournament history, promising Chinese teenager Zhang Jin will become the youngest player to tee off at the Volvo China Open this week.

Zhang sealed his place for the Suzhou event after winning the Northern China qualifying event in Beijing. He will be among illustrious company at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Golf Club.

Ryder Cup captains Colin Montgomerie and Corey Pavin are in the field, along with US PGA Championship winner Yang Yong-eun, Sweden's Henrik Stenson and Chinese stalwarts Liang Wenchong and Zhang Lianwei.
