Habs force Game 6
RENE Bourque scored three goals and the Montreal Canadiens chased goalie Henrik Lundqvist to beat the New York Rangers 7-4 on Tuesday, staving off elimination in the NHL Eastern Conference final.
The Rangers, who lead the best-of-7 series 3-2, will have another chance to earn a trip to the Stanley Cup final in Game 6 in New York. Alex Galchenyuk, Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty also scored for Montreal, which outshot the Rangers 28-27. In the Western Conference final, Los Angeles takes a 3-1 lead to Chicago today.
