DALLAS Stars center Rich Peverley is to undergo heart surgery and will miss the rest of the National Hockey League season it was announced on Wednesday. The 31-year-old Canadian collapsed after finishing a shift on the ice in a Monday game against Columbus, unsettling his teammates who could not finish the game. Peverley praised the doctors who provided medical care after he passed out.
