Rangers’ Carcillo ban
NEW York Rangers forward Daniel Carcillo has received an automatic 10-game suspension after he was ejected for physical abuse of officials during Game 3 of the NHL’s Eastern Conference finals against Montreal.
Carcillo appeared to twice elbow linesman Scott Driscoll, who was trying to keep Carcillo away from a fight in Thursday’s game. The NHL also suspended Montreal forward Brandon Prust for two games for his hit on the Rangers’ Derek Stepan.
