Sabres trade Miller
The Buffalo Sabres dealt star goaltender Ryan Miller and captain Steve Ott to National Hockey League rivals St Louis Blues on Friday in a blockbuster five-player trade. Miller, the Sabres’ franchise leader in wins, departs after 10 years in Buffalo, where he won the 2010 Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top goalie. In exchange, the Sabres are getting St. Louis’ starting goaltender Jaroslav Halak, forward Chris Stewart and top prospect William Carrier.
