GPKS held 4th round races in Wenzhou

THE fourth race of the 2017 “Future Star” Grand Prix Kart Scholarship Series (GPKS) was held in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, over the weekend.

Shanghai-based Lu Wenhu won the 16-lap Junior Final first round and 18-lap second round competitions, while the two-round Cadet Final was dominated by Ke Shuncheng.

Backed by Federation of Automobile and Motorcycling Sports of China and J&P Event Management, the series features young kart drivers between the ages of seven and 15. The year-end winner will join Team CRG and compete in the X30 World Final in the French city of Le Mans.

The series will hold its final stopover in Shanghai on September 9-10.
