Hamilton quickest, Webber loses wing
MCLAREN'S Lewis Hamilton, winner last weekend in Germany, was fastest in first practice for the Hungarian Grand Prix yesterday, the Briton leading the way as Red Bull's Mark Webber crashed and lost his front wing.
Hamilton has won twice at the Hungaroring and showed his love of the circuit by setting the pace on an overcast day with a quickest lap of one minute, 23.350 seconds. World champion Sebastian Vettel was second fastest in a time of 1:23.564 and Ferrari's Fernando Alonso was third as teams tested ahead of today's qualifying and tomorrow's race.
