Lu wins 3rd GPKS race in Shaoxing

THE third race of the 2017 “Future Star” Grand Prix Kart Scholarship Series (GPKS) was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, over the weekend.

Shanghai-based Lu Wenhu won the 25-lap Junior Final competition on the 3.2-kilometer Shaoxing International Circuit track, with a time of 17:03.587.

Backed by Federation of Automobile and Motorcycling Sports of China and J&P Event Management, the series features young kart drivers between the ages of seven and 15. The year-end winner will join Team CRG and compete in the X30 World Final in the French city of Le Mans.

The series will next head to Wenzhou on August 12-13 before the final stopover in Shanghai on September 9-10.
