No Ferrari news
Ferrari has taken the unusual step of announcing that it will not be making a driver announcement at the September 8 Italian Grand Prix. With speculation swirling that Kimi Raikkonen could replace Felipe Massa as the team’s second driver next season, a statement on team’s website on Friday said there are “no announcements on the horizon.” Massa’s contract expires at the season’s end. Ferrari’s top driver Fernando Alonso sits second in the Formula One standings, 46 points behind Germany’s Sebastian Vettel of Red Bull.
