Shanghai adds events

SHANGHAI will host more international sports events this year after the Global Champions Tour for horse riding and the F1 Powerboat World Championship have been added to the city's schedule. The GCT Shanghai will be held in October in front of the China Art Museum, formerly the China Pavilion at the World Expo. The F1 powerboat racing is scheduled for June on the city's famous Huangpu River, the Shanghai Administration of Sports said yesterday.
