Younger Schumacher also keen on F1 return
RALF Schumacher says he would follow his older brother Michael's return to Formula One racing if he receives a good offer.
Michael Schumacher, a record seven-time Formula One champion, is making his comeback after three years in retirement to drive for Mercedes GP.
Ralf Schumacher, who retired from Formula One in 2007, said on Tuesday racing against his brother was not that important but that he would seriously consider an offer to drive for a "competitive" team.
The 34-year-old driver's last team was Toyota. He won six races with Williams. Since leaving Formula One, Ralf Schumacher has been driving in the German Touring Cars series, without much success.
Michael, who will turn 41 on Sunday, won a record 91 grands prix and is the series' most successful driver, holding several other milestones.
"Competing against Michael is not that important for me," Ralf told the German DPA news agency. "In any case, I would seriously consider an interesting and attractive offer to drive in a competitive F1 team."
