China's Dong leads trampoline qualifications at London Olympics

CHINA'S Dong Dong, 2009 and 2010 world champion, set pace at the men's trampoline qualication of the London Olympic Games today with 112.895 points.
Dong collected 51.160 and 61.735 points from his two routines, followed by Russia's Dmitry Usheakov, a two-time Olympian, who was a narrow 0.290 points behind.
Dong's teammate Lu Chenglong, the defending champion, was in third place with 112.299 points due to out of bound errors.
Four trampolinists failed to finish their routines for stepping on the cushion in landing.
The qualification result will not be counted in the finals.
