DAWN Fraser, who won swimming gold medals at three Olympics for Australia, fought off and helped capture a man who tried to rob her home near Brisbane.
Fraser, 71, said yesterday the man grabbed her but she fought back. "This guy came out of the gate and grabbed me and I grabbed him by the ear and I kicked him in the groin," she told several Australian television stations. She held the 100-meter freestyle world record from 1956 to 1972.
