IOC weighs list of finalists for 2018 Winter Games

ALL three candidate cities are expected to make the list of finalists in the race to host the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee executive board was reviewing the bids today from Annecy, France; Munich; and Pyeongchang, South Korea.
All three are likely to make the cut.
The three cities have been campaigning on a low-key basis since October when they applied to host the games. Once accepted as finalists, they can launch a more visible international lobbying efforts.
The IOC will select the 2018 host city at its session in Durban, South Africa in July 2011.
Pyeongchang, bidding for a third consecutive time, is seen as the front-runner.
