RETIRED Chinese tennis star and two time grand slam winner Li Na has been named as the Global Ambassador of Special Olympics. “I hope I can introduce the sports spirit to more people with my effort. I truly hope that young people with intellectual disabilities can be encouraged by the Special Olympics,” said Li Na, who donated her favorite Balolat tennis racket to raise money at a charity gala dinner of the Special Olympics in Shanghai.
