ALL Blacks center Ma’a Nonu scored a crucial try against his former team to lift the Blues to a 30-12 win over the Otago Highlanders in Auckland in round seven of Super Rugby yesterday. Nonu surged over the Highlanders’ line in the 36th minute, propelled by his international teammate Steven Luatua after a clean break by scrumhalf Bryn Hall. The Blues posted their third win in six games and avenged a 21-29 loss to the Highlanders earlier this season. In another game, the Queensland Reds edged South Africa’s Stormers 22-17 in Brisbane, Australia.
