FORMER Australian Rugby Union high performance manager Pat Wilson was named acting chief executive of the Melbourne Rebels yesterday, after a scandal forced the sudden resignation of his predecessor at the new Super 15 team. Brian Waldron, who joined the Rebels in January, was implicated in a salary cap breach by the Storm that was made public on Thursday.
