Carter commits

DANIEL Carter, widely regarded as the best flyhalf in the world, has signed a new four-year contract to continue playing for the All Blacks until 2015, the New Zealand Rugby Union said yesterday. The 29-year-old, who has played 79 tests and scored 1,188 points, said he had turned down lucrative offers to move abroad after this year's World Cup in New Zealand.
