Injured Wallaby Polota-Nau set to miss rest of season

AUSTRALIA front rower Tatafu Polota-Nau will likely miss the rest of the season and may require left ankle surgery after sustaining the injury in Australia’s 32-25 Rugby Championship win on Saturday over Argentina.
Polata-Nau’s return to the Wallabies’ lineup after a right knee injury lasted until halftime, with the 50-test hooker struggling with the ankle injury before being replaced. The Australian Rugby Union said scans showed Polota-Nau suffered a syndesmosis injury and is expected to be out for two months.
