Larkham, Fisher to lead Brumbies

Former Wallaby Stephen Larkham and former head coach Laurie Fisher will share the coaching duties for the ACT Brumbies over the next two Super Rugby seasons.

The Brumbies said yesterday that Larkham will be the club’s head coach, while Fisher has been appointed the Brumbies’ director of rugby. The pair replaces South African Jake White, who quit the Brumbies in September and was named coach of the Durban-based Sharks in October. Former flyhalf Larkham is a Super Rugby winner with the Brumbies and a 1999 World Cup champion with the Wallabies, for whom he played 102 tests. Fisher was the Brumbies’ head coach from 2005 to 2008.
