WORLD series leader New Zealand downed Kenya 31-7 yesterday to continue its strong start and clinch a spot in the Hong Kong Sevens quarterfinals. Captain DJ Forbes scored two of New Zealand's five tries to help his team remain unbeaten in pool play along with defending champion Fiji, Canada, Wales and Portugal, which beat Samoa 14-0.
