Argentina backrower Leonardo Senatore has been banned for nine weeks for biting, ruling him out of the remainder of the Pumas’ Rugby Championship tests and three games for English club Worcester. Senatore was found guilty at a SANZAR disciplinary hearing of biting South Africa lock Eben Etzebeth on the forearm in a test last weekend. The southern hemisphere rugby body said on Thursday that Senatore escaped a longer ban because he had been provoked when Etzebeth struck him on the head.
