Waratahs suffer first loss of Super season
SCRUMHALF Nic White scored a try and kicked two conversions and three penalties for 18 points to lead the ACT Brumbies to a 28-23 win over New South Wales in Canberra, handing the Waratahs their first loss of the Super Rugby season.
The Brumbies played most of the final 20 minutes a man down as the Waratahs scored 14 late points. Elsewhere, Western Force held on to beat the Otago Highlanders 31-29 and the Wellington Hurricanes hammered South Africa’s Cheetahs 60-27.
