SHANGHAI will host The Cup of China figure skating event from November 4 to 6, local sports authority announced yesterday. Shanghai Sports Bureau said 52 skaters from nine countries had confirmed their participation for the event, which will be held at the Oriental Sports Center. As a top level event, the ISU grand prix has six stops - the United States, Canada, China, Japan, France and Russia every year. China has been holding the event since 2003 but its a first for Shanghai. Tickets costs 30 to 580 yuan.
