The Netherlands' Stefan Groothuis won the men's sprint championship. He won the 1,000.
"At last," Groothuis said. "Pretty much before I got fourth. Finally I won a big championship and I'm really glad for that. Sprints is the most difficult one to win, so I'm really glad to win this one."
