China reigns at freestyle aerials
JIA Zongyang of China won a freestyle aerials World Cup event in Changchun, Jilin Province, yesterday, while the host also swept the women's podium.
Jia scored 253.77 points. He was followed by compatriot Qi Guangpu, who scored 250.28 points. Anton Kushnir of Belarus was third, 7.29 points behind Jia. Kushnir topped the men's freestyle World Cup standings after four events with 26.67 points. Jia was second with 22.67 and Sweden's Jesper Bjoernlund third with 16.67. Xu Mengtao led China's women with 207.68 points. Guo Xinxin was next with 179.76 points, followed by Zhang Xin with 177.55. Guo topped the standings after four events with 30 points, followed by Xu with 26.67 and China's Li Nina with 16.67 points.
