Miller ends wait for World Cup win
BODE Miller of the US won his first World Cup race for nearly two years when he pipped Switzerland's Carlo Janka to clinch a men's Super Combined in Switzerland yesterday.
The American won with a combined time of two minutes 35.96 seconds Silvan Zurbriggen, another Swiss, was third. Miller, who sprained his right ankle during a US team volleyball match at Val D'Isere earlier this season, recorded his last win in a downhill at Kvitfjell in Norway in March, 2008. It was the 32nd World Cup victory of his career.
