O'Sullivan out of Chengdu event
WORLD champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has withdrawn from the forthcoming International Championship in China due to illness.
O'Sullivan claimed he had been advised not to make the trip due to on-going health problems and he will be absent from the tournament, reported to be the richest snooker event ever staged in China, which begins in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, today. "I'm very sorry that I had to officially withdraw from the International Championship, due to ongoing health problems," he said.
